We cater to dietary requirements such as gluten or diary free. Please note that our cakes do not contain nuts unless explicitly stated. 

What is your inspiration? Why did you start baking?

We love to bake and are greatly inspired by this verse - "taste and see that the Lord is good" -  Psalm 34:8. Our aim is to offer a personalised and deliciously memorable cake for your special occasion

Allergy Information

On our Flavours page, we have mentioned our ingredients per cake and listed any allergen ingredients in bold. We will also provide an allergy information card with every purchase.

Terms and Conditions

1.   The “Seller”


The seller is defined as Good Cakery. The “Buyer” is the person who buys the goods. “Goods” is defined as the items to be supplied by the Seller to the Buyer as listed in this invoice.

2.   The terms

These terms and conditions shall apply to the sale of the Goods by Good Cakery to the Buyer. The Seller may make any variation to these terms in writing. By ordering from Good Cakery you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions and accept that these terms and conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website from time to time.

3.   Orders


We require at least 7 days notice to bake for you. We require two months notice on wedding cakes. If however you are pressed for time, call us and depending on our schedule we may be able to fit in last minute requests.


If you provide us with a picture or photo of a cake produced by any other cake maker, we can reproduce a similar cake for you, it will not be an exact reproduction of the cake in the picture or photo.


Please note pictures on our website are for general illustration only and the product may vary from the image shown.

4.   Alterations to Orders


Please check your copy of the order form and let us know within 3 days if you want to make any changes. It is your responsibility to advise Good Cakery if you have any changes to the original order.

Good Cakery reserves the right to increase the price if the changes are substantial. Please note that late changes cannot always be guaranteed.

5. Availability


If any item of the Goods you have ordered are not available from stock, we will contact you by e-mail or phone to notify you of this. You will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.

6.   Cancellation


For cakes other than wedding cakes, you have the right to cancel your order of cakes  for any reason within 5 days of placing your order and obtain a full refund. Good Cakery are unable to refund for cakes cancelled less than 5 days before delivery.


For wedding cake, you have the right to cancel your wedding cake for any reason. If you cancel a wedding cake more than 60 days before the event, you will receive be a full refund.


There will be a 50% charge for orders cancelled 30 to 59 days before the event.


There will be a 75% charge for orders cancelled 14 to 29 days before the event.


There will be no refund for orders cancelled 13 days or less before the event.


On receipt of the cancellation you will be sent confirmation and any money to be refunded will be paid back to you as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your cancellation.


We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered or we do not deliver to the area you have specified.

 7.   Delivery


Cakes will be delivered and set up. We require at least seven days notice for any deliveries. We deliver Tuesday to Saturday between 8.30am and 6.00pm. You must indicate on the order form your preferred option. We reserve the right to contact the customer or the venue to agree to amend the time if necessary. Please be precise about where you would like the goods left. We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, we will contact you to arrange an alternative time.


Cakes should be stored in a cool dark place and on a flat stable surface. Cakes should not be refrigerated and should last for five days.


Delivery charges cannot be refunded.

8. Price


The prices for goods are as set out in our website. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.


 9. Risk and ownership


We do not offer full refunds for any cake which has been consumed. All cakes delivered to venues are photographed to show cake quality on delivery. We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to the cake, once the cake has been delivered to a venue.


Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you.  

All Good Cakery cakes are fragile and require care and attention when handling, storing and displaying to prevent damage occurring.

Please take care when displaying your cake to avoid direct sunlight, spotlights or candles.

Your statuary rights are not affected by any statement contained in this document or our website
